Marian University women’s lacrosse (3-13, 2-7 NACC) closed out its season falling Lawrence 8-4.
 

• The Vikings took an early lead scoring the first two goals of the game.
• A woman-up goal from junior Justice Cole helped cut the deficit down to 2-1 going into the second quarter.
• The second quarter saw Lawrence build its lead to 5-2 going into halftime with the Marian goal coming from freshman Shaelyn Klassen.
• Another goal from Klassen with 6:35 left in the third helped cut the Marian deficit down to 5-3 going into the fourth quarter.
• The Vikings opened the final quarter with a pair of goals to pull away.
• Cole would score once more as the two squads traded the final goals of the game.

• Marian had a 20-19 edge for shots in the game.
• The Sabres also had a 20-16 advantage in ground balls.
• Draw controls also favored the Sabres at a 10-5 clip.
• The two teams have now split the two meetings between each other.

	Freshman Shaelyn Klassen had her second multi-goal game of the season to go with four ground balls.
	Junior Justice Cole finished the season with multiple goals in four of the last six games.
	Freshman Talia Bellotti had four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
