Marian women’s hockey skates tough with No. 6/6 SNC

Marian University women’s ice hockey  (2-3-0, 0-3-0 NCHA) was shutout for the third straight game falling to No. 6/6 St. Norbert 3-0.

  • A defensive opening stanza saw neither team produce any goals with few shots.
  • The Green Knights were able to end the scoreless stalemate with just 4:07 left in the second period.
  • The 1-0 deficit stayed that way the rest of the period and most of the second.
  • SNC was able to build its lead to 2-0 with 5:01 left in the third and sealed the win with an empty-net goal.
