Marian women’s golf finishes second at NACC Championship

Marian University women’s golf had rounds of 314, 320, and 315 to finish second at the NACC Championship.

  • Yinan Lu had closed out her conference career finishing tied for second with rounds of 73, 75, and 74.
  • Lu becomes the first Sabre golfer to earn All-NACC honors all four years of their career.
  • Katelyn Bucciarelli scored in all three rounds finishing 16th with scores of 83, 78, and 83.
  • Jessy Merrell had a strong start with a 77 and finished in 19th after rounds of 84 and 87.
  • Olivia Schueller was tied for 20th opening the event with an 83 followed by an 87 and 81.
  • Allison Cink had rounds of 81, 83, and 88 to finish in 23rd.
  • Closing out the Marian lineup was Trinity Knudtson who concluded teh event with a 77 in her final round.
  • This is the third time in the past four seasons Marian has finished runner-up at the NACC Championship.
  • Aurora won the conference title led by Avery Arendell who was the medalist at 217 strokes.
