Marian women’s bowling ranked 12th in preseason NTCA DII/III poll

Heading into the opening weekend of the season, Marian University women’s bowling opens the season ranked 12th in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) DII/III preseason poll.

Marian is fresh off of a 2022-23 campaign that saw the Sabres win its third CCIW Championship and reach the CCIW Tournament Championship match.  The Sabres were able to finish the season ranked in a similar 12th position by the NTCA in the DII/III poll.  Marian returns a pair of All-CCIW selections from a season ago in Jenna Betts and Brenna Schiekiera, along with Jazmin Koeberl who was a qualifier for the USBC ISC Championship.

Three schools from the CCIW earned votes in the poll led by Carthage who finished in 10th.  Elmhurst also received votes but did not finish in the top 15.  Maryville leads the DII/III poll, while Vanderbilt was picked as the top squad in the overall NTCA poll.  For more information on the NTCA please visit https://www.ntcabowling.com/.

Marian travels to the ISBPA/Kegel Midwest Classic October 7-8 at AMF Bowlero in Milwaukee, Wis. to open the season.
