Marian women’s bowling gets back on track at second GLBC Event

Marian University women’s bowling won the second GLBC Event by more than 300 pins.

  • Marian dominated the opening day of competition with a 4,374 score in traditional play.
  • This built a 186-pin lead going into Baker play over Viterbo.
  • The Sabres then had a 2,636 Baker score, which was also the best in the field.
  • This put Marian at 7,010 pins for the event with an average of 171.0.
  • Marian was the only team with a varsity-reserve squad with that Marian team averaging 148.6 after a traditional score of 3,860 and Baker score of 2,234.

Katie Bialke led the Sabres finishing fifth with a 185.8 average.
Delanie Vogt finished right behind Bialke with an average of 181.6.
Chloe Andersen led the varsity-reserve team finishing 14th with an average of 165.4.
