Marian University women’s bowling closed out the first half of its season at the Starrag Group Warhawk Open, hosted by UW-Whitewater.
- Marian was able to qualify for bracket play after finishing seventh with 7,917 pins.
- The Sabres would take on second-seeded Davenport in the opening round of bracket play.
- Marian was able to take the opening game 172-149.
- Davenport bounced back, however, earning wins of 225-208 and 234-148 to eliminate the Sabres.
Jazmin Koeberl led all bowlers with a 201.3 average. She had two games above 200 pins with a 243 coming in her sixth game. | |
Jenna Betts finished in 20th averaging 181.3 and had a high game of 223. | |
Jocelynn Eggert took 28th after averaging 174.7. She posted a high game of 184. |
