Marian women’s bowling finishes fifth at Titan Invite

Marian University women’s bowling finished fifth at the UWO Titan Invite after recording a score of 6,748, average of 150.0.

  • Marian was able to open the invite with a score of 4,055 in traditional play.
  • Marian opened strong with an 837 and 940 but struggled over the final three games.
  • The 940 for the Sabres was the second-highest traditional game among the entire field.
  • The Sabres then posted the third-highest Baker score at 2,693 pins, 673.3 average per set.
  • Marian had a high game of 753 in the fourth set which was also the highest Baker set in the field.

Abby Giddings won the event with an average of 192.4.  She was the only bowler in the field who bowled in all five games and had multiple games over 200 pins.
Delanie Vogt took 11th with an average of 174.2 and a high game of 200.
Kylie Junak competed in the first three games and averaged 156.8 pins.
