Marian University women’s basketball (5-15, 3-8 NACC) reached 90 points for just the seventh time in program history defeating Alverno 90-75.
 
- Marian opened the game scoring the first 12 points and led by as much as 22-4 with 2:50 left in the opening quarter.
 - Alverno was able to trim its deficit to as little as three in the second quarter after outscoring the Sabres 27-15 for the quarter.
 - Marian still headed into the locker room with a 39-33 advantage at the break.
 - The Sabres brought their lead out to 46-40 before going on a 15-4 spurt to build a comfortable 17-point lead.
 - Marian would go into the final quarter leading 66-53.
 - A strong start to the final quarter saw Marian extend its lead to 18 and cruise to the 90-75 win.
 
- Marian shot 36-of-88 (.409) for the game and 9-of-28 (.321) from beyond the arc.
 - Alverno finished 23-of-70 (.329) from the field and 10-of-31 (.323) on triples.
 - The Sabres finished with at least 90 points for just the seventh time in program history and first time since November 18, 2010 in a 91-51 win over Mount Mary.
 - Marian finished with a 40-20 advantage for points in the paint.
 - The Sabres were able to grab a season-high 23 offensive rebounds and outpaced Alverno 27-17 in second chance points.
 - Marian improves to 23-17 all-time against the Inferno with five straight wins.
