The Marian University eSports Valorant team (9-0) swept Culver-Stockton 13-6, 13-1, and 13-6 to claim an NECC Championship.

MAP 1 – ASCENT
- The Sabres had a strong start with three Sabres recording at least 24 kills and a combat score of at least 331.
- Those same three student-athletes all had an ECON rating of at least 103.
- Marian was able to edge Culver-Stockton in first eliminations at a 12-7 clip.
MAP 2 – BREEZE
- The second map of the evening was all Sabres as Marian was easily able to cruise to a 2-0 lead.
- All five Sabres had a combat score of at least 145 with a match-high 405 effort coming from Ryu Yang (Evolution).
- Marian had the first elimination in nine of the 14 rounds to go with 12 plants.
MAP 3 – BIND
- The final map proved to be the most competitive of the night but the Sabres were still able to claim the NECC Championship with a sweep.
- The Sabres had a pair of student-athletes record a combat score of at least 379 and 27 kills.
- Yang had another solid match with an ECON rating of 107.
- Each team had seven plants, and Marian finished with an 11-8 advantage in first eliminations.

- Marian claims its first championship in Valorant under Head Coach Trace Rutman.
- It was the eighth sweep of the season for the Sabres.
- Marian closes out a perfect season where the Sabres dropped just one map the whole campaign.
