Accreditation milestone highlights program quality and commitment to CSWE standards
Marian University is pleased to announce that the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Board of Accreditation (BOA) has accepted Marian’s latest progress report, thus accrediting the program until 2032.
This action affirms the program’s continued compliance with accreditation standards and reflects the strength of Marian’s commitment to preparing highly competent, ethical, and community-focused social work professionals.
As part of the BOA’s action, the Social Work program’s next reaffirmation date is set for February 2032. The reaffirmation timetable for this cycle has been shortened due to a previously granted one-year postponement and one-meeting deferral earlier in the review process.
“Accreditation is an important, voluntary process grounded in rigorous peer review,” Brenda Stueber, Professor and Social Work Program Director, said. “The acceptance of this report demonstrates our faculty’s dedication to excellence and our program’s ongoing commitment to meeting the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS).”
Marian University’s Social Work program remains committed to maintaining the highest standards in social work education and to preparing graduates who serve communities with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.
