Marian University Offers Guaranteed Nursing Admission for Army ROTC Cadets

Marian University is showing its commitment to supporting the academic and career success of future military healthcare leaders, with a new partnership with the United States Army Cadet Command (USACC).  Marian’s Nursing Program and USACC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that guarantees one (1) qualified Army ROTC nursing cadet a place in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the Fond du Lac campus each admission cycle, beginning in Fall 2025.

Strengthening Military Nursing Education

The partnership, facilitated through the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Army ROTC, will ensure that fully eligible nursing cadets have a clear pathway to complete their nursing education, while fulfilling their leadership training through the ROTC program.  This initiative is designed to support the academic progression and professional development of ROTC nursing cadets, preparing them to serve as highly skilled military nurses.

“This partnership reinforces Marian University’s dedication to providing exceptional nursing education while supporting the mission of the U.S. Army,” said Dr. Cheryl Seelig, Associate Dean and Chief Nursing Administrator at Marian University. “We are proud to work alongside the USACC to create opportunities for ROTC cadets to  advance their careers in military nursing.”
