Unmatched outcomes place Marian at the forefront of nursing education in the U.S.
Marian University (Wisconsin) is proud to announce that its traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the 2024–2025 NCLEX-RN exam—ranking #1 out of 46 nursing programs in Wisconsin, #1 out of 1,177 BSN programs nationwide, and #1 out of 2,305 nursing programs of all types across the United States and its territories.
These results reflect the performance of all Marian graduates who completed the exam during the reporting period, each successfully passing on their first attempt.
“This achievement speaks to the extraordinary dedication of our students and the exceptional commitment of our faculty,” Dr. Cheryl Seelig, Associate Dean of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer, said. “Preparing work-ready nurses who provide compassionate, evidence-based care is core to our mission—and these results affirm the strength and quality of a Marian nursing education.”
Over the past decade, Marian’s NCLEX performance has consistently exceeded national and state averages. However, the 2024-2025 results mark the program’s strongest performance on record, building on years of program refinement, curriculum innovation, high-impact clinical partnerships, and strong student support.
Marian’s nursing graduates overwhelmingly apply for licensure in Wisconsin, reinforcing the University’s role in strengthening the state’s healthcare workforce. With demand for qualified nurses at an all-time high, Marian continues to play a critical role in preparing practice-ready professionals who are equipped to lead in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
