Ensuring affordability and stability through Marian’s commitment to social justice and community.
In a continued effort to support students and families and provide stability amidst rising education costs,Marian University is expanding The Marian Promise, a tuition initiative that locks in tuition rates for two years for the 2026–2027 academic year for new students (same tuition rate for 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 academic years).
“As financial challenges continue to impact families across Wisconsin and beyond, this initiative demonstrates our ongoing commitment to social justice and community,” Aaron Sadoff, President of Marian University, said. “By guaranteeing tuition rates, we provide students with the financial predictability they need to pursue their education with confidence.”
The Marian Promise, reaffirmed by Marian University’s Board of Trustees at their October meeting, is designed to stabilize tuition costs, ease planning for families, and strengthen enrollment and retention. The initiative is a key component of the University’s strategic plan and reflects Marian’s forward-looking approach to affordability, access, and student success.
This commitment reflects Marian University’s dedication to delivering a world-class educational experience grounded in its Agnesian Catholic tradition and Core Values of Community, Learning, Service, Social Justice, and Spiritual Traditions.
Key Components of The Marian Promise include:
- All currently enrolled students will benefit from a tuition freeze for the 2026–2027 academic year, ensuring their tuition rate remains unchanged.
- All new traditional undergraduate freshmen and transfer students enrolling for the 2026–2027 academic year will have their tuition rate locked in for two years—covering both the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 academic years—creating greater certainty and stability for students and their families.
“As we continue implementing our strategic plan, The Marian Promise reflects our enduring mission to make a Marian education accessible and equitable,” Sadoff continued. “This guarantee allows students to invest fully in their academic and personal growth without the added stress of rising tuition.”
