Marian University Celebrates 2025 Hall of Fame Honorees

Marian University is proud to recognize four remarkable leaders at the 2025 Hall of Fame Dinner on Saturday, September 27, 2025, as part of Homecoming Week. This special evening will celebrate alumni and community members who exemplify Marian’s mission of service, leadership, and lifelong learning. 

The evening begins with a reception at 5:00 pm in the Stayer Center, followed by dinner at 6:00 pm and the awards program at 7:00 pm.

This year’s honorees include:

  • Spirit of Marian Award: Kathleen Candee

For more than 30 years, Kathleen Candee has served Marian University in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President for Advancement & Alumni Relations. She is recognized for her deep commitment to Marian’s core values and her lasting impact on both the University and the Fond du Lac community.

  • Sister Judith Schmidt Award: Grant Monroe ’97

A Marian graduate and former Director of Alumni Relations, Grant Monroe is now Director of Development at The Arc Fond du Lac. Deeply rooted in the community, he is known for his humble leadership, volunteer service, and commitment to Marian’s core values of community, lifelong learning, social justice, and faith.

  • Distinguished Alumni Award: Dr. Kay Miller ’92

Founder of Miller Chiropractic, LLC, Dr. Kay Miller has built a successful practice in her hometown of Fond du Lac. A leader in collaborative healthcare, she is also a City Council member, community volunteer, and advocate for wellness. Her career reflects her dedication to holistic health and service.

  • Distinguished Alumni Award: Eric Tillich ’03

As President and CEO of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Eric Tillich has transformed the Conservatory into one of Milwaukee’s most vibrant arts institutions. With more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, he has championed mission-driven organizations and continues to inspire growth, service, and community impact.

Marian University was founded in 1936 by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, a group of pioneering sisters, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
