  • Sophomore Grace Blauert cleared her Marian school record of 3.10 meters (10-2) for the second straight week, placing eighth in the pole vault. She made the height on her third attempt, while she and three other athletes failed at 3.25 meters. Blauert now looks to chase her high school personal best of 3.28 meters (10-9), set at the 2021 WIAA D2 State Track & Field Championships.
  • Sophomore Jude Al Taie aimed to build on her 3.40-meter long jump at Ripon last week but scratched all three of her attempts.

MEN

  • Senior Matthew Linn threw 12.70 meters (41-08) to place 22nd in the shot put. Just one week after breaking his Marian indoor shot put record with a throw of 13.06 meters, he recorded the second-best mark of his indoor career.
  • Freshman Malik Holmes improved on both of his times from the previous week, running 7.91 in the 60-meter dash (a 0.06-second improvement) and 28.18 in the 200 meters (a 0.46-second improvement). Holmes’ all-time 200-meter best of 25.77 seconds was set during his sophomore year of high school in 2023.
