Marian University track and field closed the 2026 indoor season with five athletes competing at the Ripon Final Qualifier.
WOMEN
- Sophomore Jude Al Taie made a significant improvement in the long jump, placing second with a collegiate personal best of 4.05 meters (13-0). Al Taie improved from her previous mark by nearly half a meter and moved into second all-time on Marian’s indoor long jump leaderboard.
- Freshman Charlotte Touw competed in the first track meet of her career (at either the high school or collegiate level), placing ninth in the 800 meters with a time of 3:05.46.
MEN
- Senior Matthew Linn threw 12.86 meters (42-2) to finish fifth in the shot put. He closes the indoor season with his second-best indoor mark and will look to surpass his school record of 13.06 meters during the outdoor season.
- Freshman Malik Holmes placed sixth in the 60-meter dash prelims to qualify for the finals, where he ran a season-best time of 7.88. Holmes also competed in the 200 meters, posting a season-best 27.92 to go under 28 seconds for the first time this season.
- Senior Jackson Shultis placed 10th in the shot put with a throw of 6.22 meters (20-5), one meet after recording his career-best mark of 6.40 meters.
