Marian University softball (20-16, 15-7 NACC) defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 5-1 and 9-1 in six innings to open the final weekend of the regular season.

GAME 1
- Marian had a slow start but were able to limit the damage allowing just one run in the first inning.
- The 1-0 deficit held until the fifth when a first-and-third pickle allowed juior Sofia Cerullo to score and tie the game.
- Cerullo then gave Marian its first lead in the seventh with a run-producing single.
- Senior Kendall Pliner and sophomore Sabrina Di Vito followed by driving in runs to put Marian ahead 5-1.
- A quiet bottom half of the seventh saw Marian close out the comeback win.
GAME 2
- The Sabres opened the scoring for game two with a three-run third that was highlighted by a double from junior Riley Mankowski that plated two runs.
- WLC answered with a run in the bottom half of the frame only for freshman Aubrey Bender to bring home a run in the fifth to put the Sabre lead at 4-1.
- Marian was able to end the game early plating five runs in the sixth inning.
- Five different Sabres brought home a run including Bender who drove in her second run of the game.
- Marian is now 57-17 all-time against WLC having won the last seven games.
