Marian University softball (24-18, 12-12 NACC) advanced to the double-elimination portion of the NACC Tournament with a 7-4 victory over Concordia Wisconsin.

- The Sabres took advantage of an early miscue from the Falcons to score a pair of runs in the opening frame.
- Junior Kendall Pliner put the Sabres on the board with a two-out single that brought home both runs.
- After a quiet second inning, Marian was able to break the game open with five runs in the third.
- The scoring for the inning opened with singles from sophomores Ariana Schliepp and Riley Mankowski that put the Sabres ahead 4-0.
- Senior Evelynn Speath put an exclamation point on the inning with a bases-clearing double that put the Marian advantage up to 7-0.
- The Falcons responded in the third with three runs to only trail four and added a run in the fourth.
- The final three innings were quiet on both sides, however, leading to the Marian victory.
- This is the first victory for Marian over CUW since the 2019 season, which also came in the NACC Tournament.
- Marian has also won multiple NACC Tournament games for only the third time in program history.
