Marian University men’s volleyball (13-4, 4-1 NACC) sweeps Wisconsin Lutheran College 26-24, 25-20, and 25-17.

• Set one saw the two teams trading points with the Warriors holding the slight 8-6 advantage to start the match.
• Marian used a 5-3 run to regain the lead 11-10 before the back-and-fourth match would continue.
• Wisconsin Lutheran held a 16-15 advantage before the Sabres used a 5-1 run to take its lead to three.  
• The Sabres used a 4-2 run to take set one to match point but the Warriors were able to answer and tie things up 24-24 before Marian would take the next two points and set one. 
• The Warriors got out to a fast start in set two behind a 7-3 lead but the Sabres answered with a 7-2 run to tie things up 9-9.
• Marian used a dominant 6-0 run to extend its lead to six. 
• The six point lead moved to 17-11 before the Warriors would use its own 6-0 run to tie things up 17-17. 
• Marian controlled the remainder of set two with an 8-3 advantage.
• A competitive match continued with set three getting out to an even 5-5 split before Marian used a 6-1 run to take the score to 11-6.  
• The Sabres held a slim 5-4 advantage to push the score to 16-10 before a 4-2 Wisconsin Lutheran run brought the Sabre lead to four.
• Marian was able to close out set three and the match with a 7-3 advantage. 

• Wisconsin Lutheran held a slim 36-35 advantage in kills but Marian was more efficient hitting .271 to the Warriors .113. 
• Marian dominated in the front row holding a large advantage in blocks 12-3 marking the second double-digit block total of the season. 
• Marian held a 6-2 advantage in aces and was one assist shy of the Warriors 35-34. 

	Senior Derek Wills continued his strong play with a game-high 13 kills on .324 hitting.
	Junior Isaac Dreifuerst recorded nine kills on .333 hitting while adding three service aces.
	Senior Marc Rey had a strong day at the net with two solo blocks while assisting on six.
