Marian University men’s volleyball (3-1, 0-0 NACC) fell to Trine in four sets 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-22.

- Set two saw the Sabres once again get out to a quick 7-3 lead.
- The two teams would trade points with an even 7-7 run before Trine would use a 6-1 run to take its first lead of the evening.
- The Sabres would regain a short one point lead at 17-16 before Trine would close out set two behind a 9-6 run.
- Trine was able to use the momentum from set two to get out to a quick 6-2 run in set three.
- The two team would trade points on an even 5-5 run but Trine quickly used a 8-5 run to extend its lead to six at 19-13.
- Marian made things interesting with a 4-0 run but Trine closed out set three with a strong 5-1 advantage.
- Trine held the early 6-4 advantage to open set four before extending its lead to five with a 5-1 run.
- Trine would hold its five point advantage with the two teams trading points with an even 10-10 run.
- The Sabres would hold the 7-5 run to end the game but the Trine lead proved to be just enough.

- Both offenses would record at least 50 kills with the Thunder holding the slight 55-53 advantage.
- The Sabre backrow had a strong performance with the 48-41 advantage in digs.
- Marian was able to force 17 Thunder hitting errors but Marian had 26 of its own.
