- Marian had a 13-11 lead in the opening set before pulling away with a 6-2 run.
- The Sabres and Regents traded points with Marian taking four of the final five to finish off the set.
- The two sides started the second at a 4-4 stalemate before 11 straight points gave Marian a comfortable lead.
- Marian built its lead to as large as 13 before the final settled at 25-16.
- The third set had a nearly identical start with the two sides knotted at 4-4.
- Marian then went on an 11-3 run to lead by eight.
- With an 18-12 lead, Marina scored five straight points to help put the match away.
- This was the first road win of the season for Marian.
