Marian University men’s soccer (1-0-0, 0-0-0 NACC) didn’t allow a shot on goal in a 3-0 win at Manchester (Ind.) to open the season.

- A game that was full of defense and not many offensive opportunities, both squads had a pair of shots in the first 21 minutes.
- At the 23:24 mark it was junior Ved Asur who scored the first goal of his career, assist to freshman Mason Radulski, to open the scoring.
- The rest of the half saw only one Marian shot as the Sabres took a 1-0 lead into the break.
- A quick start to the second half saw Radulski net his first goal as a Sabre with an assist from junior Nathan Blazenko in the 56th minute.
- Freshman Olav Frederiksen closed out the scoring with his first collegiate goal burying a penalty-kick in the 76th minute.

- The Sabres had a 10-4 edge in shots with a 6-0 advantage in shots on goal.
- Marian also finished with a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.
- This was just the second meeting between the two schools as Marian improved to 2-0-0, a 2-1 neutral site win in 2015.
- Marian earns a win in its season opener for the first time since 2021.
