Marian University men’s soccer (1-7-3, 0-4-1 NACC) had the lead at halftime but fell to MSOE 5-3.

- The Sabres were able to strike first when a shot from sophomore Connor Sanderfoot deflected off of an MSOE defender and trickled across the goal line in the 21st minute.
- The Sabre lead didn’t last long, however, as MSOE found an equalizer 3:33 later.
- A nice chip over the defense from Sanderfoot in the 34th minute gave freshman Mason Radulski a good look before fellow freshman Jay Wolcott buried the rebound for his first goal as a Sabre.
- Marian was able to hold onto its 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
- MSOE jumped out fast in the second half scoring in the 51st and 54th minute to take its first lead of hte game.
- A strike from Sanderfoot in the 77th minute gave Marian its equalizer from just inside the top of the box.
- The Raiders were able to end the dead lock scoring with just 3:24 left an d1:52 to play to salvage the win.

- Marian was outshot 29-10 for the game and 17-8 for shots on goal.
- The Raideres had eight corner kicks to only four for the Sabres.
- Each team was called for three fouls, while MSOE had one yellow card and the Sabres a pair.
- The three goals scored ties a season-high for the Sabres.
- MSOE improved to 22-28-2 all-time against the Sabres and has won the last 21 meetings.
