Marian men’s golf takes eighth at WLC Fall Invitational

Marian University men’s golf showed consistency with a 309 and 311 to finish eighth at the WLC Fall Invitational.

  • Wyatt Pfeiffer continued his strong play finishing tied for eighth after an even-par 72 and four-over-par 76.
  • Pfeiffer had a par on every hole of his first round and four birdies in the second round.
  • Brett Ramme and Ben Wilson, who competed as an individual, each finished at 156.
  • Wilson had a 77 and 79, while Ramme bounced back from an 80 to card a 76 in the second round.
  • Jackson Blaine finished with a 79 in each round, and Tyler Bunkoske similarly had an 80 in each round.
  • Rounding out the Marian lineup was Tyler McArthur who scored in the first round with a 78 and posted an 85 in the second round.
  • Also competing as an individual was Dane Taylor who had a 90 and 93.
  • MSOE won the team title by a stroke with a 593, while James Trachsel of Carthage was the medalist at one-under-par.
