Marian men’s golf continues consistency at Midwest Region Classic

Marian University men’s golf finished with a team score of 310 at a shortened Midwest Region Fall Classic.

  • Wyatt Pfeiffer led the way for the Sabres and shot under-par for the second time this season with a 71 to tie for sixth.
  • The next five Sabres were separated by just three shots beginning with Tyler Bunkoske and his 78 as an individual.
  • Brendan Bottem then carded a 79 in his return to action.
  • The trio fo Jackson Blaine, Brett Ramme, and Tyler Fromolz all had an 80 with Fromolz competing as an individual in his first competition.
  • Rounding out the Marian lineup was Ben Wilson with an 83.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan won the event by 10 strokes and were led by Harrison Weddell who shot three-under par.
  • Also shooting three-under par was Riley Tanzi of Wisconsin Lutheran.
