Marian University men’s bowling recorded a total score of 8,162 to earn a spot in bracket play where the Sabres were able to win the Hammer Golden Eagle Invite.

- Marian had a slow start to its opening tournament finishing 10th after the opening day of traditional play.
- The Sabres had a game over 1,000 pins in the fourth game at 1,030.
- Baker format saw Marian provide a strong bounce back finishing with 3,139 pins, the second-most of any team in the field.
- Marian had eight Baker games with more than 200 pins closing out the format with a 265 in the final game.
- The strong Baker play saw Marian qualify for Bracket play as the No. 4 seed.
- The Sabres opened with a two-game sweep of Rock Valley with wins of just nine and five pins.
- Then against top-seeded UW-Whitewater, Marian opened with a 203-173 victory before the Warhawks took game two 184-164.
- The winner-take-all third game saw Marian bowl its best game of bracket play defeating UWW 213-193.
- Marian then faced No. 2 seed St. Ambrose and began the championship match splitting the first two games.
- After St. Ambrose took a 2-1 lead, Marian staved off elimination with a 204-166 win in game four, the highest total for the Sabres in the championship match.
- Game five saw Marian complete the comeback winning 191-153.
