Marian men’s bowling posts strong seventh-place finish to start second half

Marian University men’s bowling finished seventh out of 68 teams at the ISBPA / Kegel Classic to begin the second half of the season.

  • The Sabres recorded more than 1,000 pins in all five traditional games finishing at 5,265 pins.
  • The consistency saw Marian post a high score of 1,113 and a low score of just 1,014.
  • Marian had a slow start to Baker play but bounced back strongly and finished with more than 200 pins in six of their final eight games.
  • The Sabres finished with 3,236 pins in Baker play and a high game of 256.
  • This all led Marian to a cumulative total of 8,501 pins.

Jaysen Spanbauer finished sixth after averaging 229.4 pins.  He had three games with at least 200 pins and a high game of 267.
Kody Litzen had an average of 210.6 to finish 56th.
Aiden Scot had two games with at least 230 pins finishing with a 203.6 average.
