Marian men’s bowling places third at third GLBC Event

Marian University men’s bowling finished with a 188.73 average to place third at the third GLBC event of the season.

  • The Sabres opened in second after a team score of 4,725 pins in traditional play only trailing Viterbo.
  • Marian had two games above 950 pins and finished traditional play with a 1,025.
  • Marian then had the third-best Baker format play at 3,013 pins.
  • A strong third set helped propel the Sabres where Marian averaged 207.75 pins.
  • In total, the Sabres had five games with more than 200 pins.
  • Marian remains atop the team leaderboard in the GLBC at 26-1 with one more GLBC event remaining.

Junior Kody Litzen earned all-tournament recognition with a 205.8 average to finish third.

 

 

 

 

Senior Rory Clark earned eighth place with a 196.0 average.

 

 

 

 

Senior Ryan Dreikosen took 11th-place with a 192.4 average.
