Marian University men’s bowling finished fourth at the Collegiate Club Championships for its best finish in program history.
- The Sabres had the fourth-best total pinfall in the field during qualifying at 3,969 pins.
- This helped earn Marian a second-place finish in the Burks Pool, only behind San Jose State, and a spot in the winners bracket.
- Marian was one of only four schools with more than 900 pins in a single match after posting a 926 in its third match.
- The 926 in that match was also the second-highest total in a single match in the field.
- Marian was able to reach the semifinals of the winners bracket after defeating Grand Canyon and UW-Whitewater in five games.
- The run at a national championship came to a close in a match-up with the New Jersey Institute of Technology, who went on to win the championship.
- The Sabres bounced back nicely, however, defeating Muskingum 2-1 to earn a spot in the third-place match.
- The match came down to the 10th frame of the final game, but Marian would fall to Purdue 2-1 to finish fourth.
