Marian men’s bowling dominates at UWO Titan Invite

Marian University men’s bowling dominated at the UWO Titan Invite earning its second straight first-place finish.

  • The Sabres were able to build a huge lead in traditional play with a score of 5,254.
  • Marian had the top four scores among the entire field with a high of 1,164 in the fourth game.
  • The Baker format saw Marian continue its domination with an even score of 3,000 pins.
  • The Sabres had at least 725 in all four sets with a high of 792 in the final set.
  • After an opening round bye, Marian easily defeated UW-La Crosse 226-197 and 221-173.
  • This put the Sabres against the second seed Lakeland where Marian earned another easy sweep with scores of 232, 247, and 184.

Ryan Dreikosen finished tied atop the individual leaderboard with a 219.2 average.  He had four games above 200 with a 267 high game. 
Rory Clark also had a 219.2 average to tie at the top of the individual leaderboard.  Clark had at least 194 pins in each game with a high of 245.
Kody Litzen finished fourth with an average of 215.0.  Litzen had a 255 and 266 as his two best games.
