Marian University men’s basketball (6-0, 0-0 NACC) led for 26:31 but fell to NCAA Division I opponent San Diego 69-64 in an exhibition for the Sabres.

- The Sabres were 14-of-26 (.539) and 4-of-8 (.500) on three-pointers in the opening half.
- San Diego shot 27-of-52 (.519) for the game but the Sabre defense limited USD to 2-of-15 shooting from beyond the arc.
- The Sabre defense forced 17 Torero turnovers and had 11 steals.
- The Toreros were able to outscore Marian 18-8 in second chance points and 38-28 for points in the paint.
