Marian University field hockey (7-10, 1-4 CFHC) defeated Concordia Wisconsin 5-4 in its final match of the regular season.

- Marian was able to control the game early and opened the scoring with a goal from junior Allyson Nichols who was assisted by freshman Clara Guivernau Ragghianti at the 8:33 mark.
- Nichols found the back of the cage once more in the quarter, with 2:08 left, with an assist from junior Jikke Biemans to put Marian ahead 2-0 at the end of one.
- It took the Sabres just 1:46 into the second quarter to add to its lead with a goal from Biemans, assist to Nichols.
- The Falcons responded 3:37 later to put the score at 3-1 going into halftime.
- Teh Falcons made things interesting scoring twice in the first 7:55 of the second half to tie the game at 3-3.
- Nichols gave Marian the lead again with 3:48 left in the third only for CUW to tie the game 2:05 later.
- The 4-4 tally would hold heading into the final period.
- The Sabres dominated the final period and netted the game winner with 6:30 to play when freshman Chloe Yanez scored the first goal of her career, assist to Nichols.

- Marian held a 23-10 advantage for shots in the game and 16-9 edge for shots on goal.
- The Sabres outshot the Falcons 8-1 in teh final quarter.
- Marian had five penalty corners to only four for the Falcons.
- CUW was called for 60 fouls to only 39 for Marian.
- Marian finishes the regular season 3-0 against CUW this season and 8-0 all-time.
- The Sabres open the CFHC Tournament Thursday, November 7 at 11 a.m. from Sewanee with their opponent to be determined based on results this weekend.
