Marian Field Hockey Shut out by Goucher

Marian University field hockey (3-2, 0-0 CFHC) was shut out for a second straight game falling to Goucher 2-0.

  • The opening quarter saw Marian control the game but neither side was able to score.
  • It took the Gophers 4:17 in the second quarter to open the scoring with an unassisted goal.
  • This 1-0 score held all the way to the fourth quarter.
  • Another quick goal in the fourth quarter saw Goucher score 3:34 into the final stanza leading to the 2-0 final.
