Marian University field hockey (9-5, 5-3 SAA) finished the regular season with a 2-0 victory at CUW in SAA action.

- The Sabres wasted no time opening the scoring with sophomore Jikke Biemans scoring just 57 seconds into the game.
- This 1-0 score held until Biemans netted a second goal off of a corner from sophomore Merel Nagelkerke 3:07 into the second quarter.
- Both defenses stood tall the remainder of the game as Marian was able to finish off a season sweep of CUW.

- Marian held a 24-11 advantage in shots for the game with a 15-6 edge for shots on goal.
- Penalty corners finished fairly close with the Sabres holding a 6-5 advantage.
- With the win, Marian clinches the No. 3 seed for the SAA Tournament and will take on second-seeded Rhodes in the semifinals.
- Marian improves to 5-0 all-time against CUW.
- The shutout was the fourth this season for the Sabre defense.
