Marian University field hockey (6-5, 2-3 SAA) closed out the non-conference portion of its season with a 4-1 win over Earlham.

- It took just 2:10 for Marian to open the scoring when sophomore Eva Houtackers was able to find the back of the cage.
- This proved to be the only score of the first half as Marian took a 1-0 edge into the break.
- The Sabres were able to dominate in the second half opening with sophomore Allyson Nichols scoring just 4:49 into the third quarter.
- Sophomore Indi Rameckers gave the Sabres a 3-0 advantage with 2:41 left in the third with an assist from Houtackers.
- Earlham was able to get on the board 1:14 into the final quarter cutting the deficit down to 3-1.
- Nichols would ice the game, however, scoring at the 52:51 mark with an assist from sophomore Jikke Biemans to put the final at 4-1.

- Marian held a 31-10 advantage in shots and outshot Earlham 20-2 in the second half.
- Penalty corners were closer but Marian still held a 9-6 advantage.
- The Sabres finish a sweep of the season series of Earlham outscoring the Quakers 6-1 this season.
- Marian finishes the season 4-2 in non-conference games.
