Marian University field hockey (2-1, 0-0 CFHC) posted its first shutout of the season defeating Wittenberg 5-0.

- Marian continued its offensive attack coming out of the break with a goal scored from Addelyn Gross off an assist from Touw to make it 2-0.
- Just four minutes later, Shaelyn Klassen scored her first goal of the game to extend the lead to 3-0.
- Marian continued to find opportunities late in the third quarter with Gross scoring her second goal of the game in the final minute, assisted by Klassen.
- Marian capped off the scoring at the 52:26 mark when Touw scored her second goal of the afternoon, assisted by Bernardita Antunez, to give the Sabres the eventual 5-0 final.
- Marian dominated the shot category outshooting Wittenberg 28-2 and holding a 21-2 advantage in shots on goal.
- The Sabres recorded eight penalty corners, while Wittenberg did not earn a penalty corner.
- Marian held Wittenberg without a shot in the first and fourth quarters.
- The Sabres finished with 13 shots in the fourth quarter alone, compared to zero for Wittenberg.
