Marian University field hockey (5-2, 0-0 CFHC) earned its third straight victory defeating Kenyohn 4-2.
 

• Marian started fast and took an early 1-0 lead at the 4:38 mark when Charlotte Touw found the back of the cage off an assist from Angelene Castro.
• Kenyon responded with several offensive chances, but the Marian defense held strong to maintain the one-goal advantage heading into the second quarter.
• The Owls controlled the second quarter offensively, outshooting Marian 9-1, and eventually found an equalizer to send the game into halftime tied at 1-1.
• Marian regained with 6:25 left in the third quarter when Shaelyn Klassen scored off an assist from Clara Guivernau Ragghianti on a penalty corner.
• The Sabres added to their advantage just 3:12 later with another penalty-corner score.
• This time it was Touw finding the back of the cage for the second time off of an assist from Klassen.
• Kenyon cut their deficit down to one with 5:10 left to play but Marian immediately responded scoring 1:24 later.
• The goal came from Klassen as she scored her second of the game and it settled the final at 4-2.

• Kenyon outshot Marian 20-12 in the game, but both teams recorded seven shots on goal.
• Marian earned eight penalty corners, compared to 10 for Kenyon.
• Marian is now 2-1 all-time against Kenyon with back-to-back road wins. 

	Shaelyn Klassen played a part in three goals scoring twice and adding an assist.
	Charlotte Touw had her third multi-goal game of the season.
	Emilee Clarey (5-2) recorded five saves in the victory.
