Marian University baseball (21-19, 14-10 NACC) recorded just two hits but defeated Concordia Wisconsin 2-0 to advance to the double-elimination portion of the NACC Tournament.

- Offense was at a premium for both sides as the two sides recorded just nine hits in a game that lasted only 1:49.
- Marian opened the scoring in the third after opening the frame with a walk and single.
- After a sacrifice bunt from graduate student Robbie Knorr, senior James Bornick hit a sacrifice fly to right field to put Marian ahead 1-0.
- The Falcons threatened in the fourth inning putting runners on first and second with one out, but Marian was able to utilize a double play to end the inning.
- From the bottom of the fourth to the top of the eighth each team only put one runner on base.
- The in the bottom of the eighth, Marian took advantage of a pair of wild pitches that allowed Knorr to drive in senior Logan Rademan with a sacrifice fly.
- The Falcons brought the tying run to the plate in the top of the ninth but Marian was able to finish of its first shutout of the season.
- Marian is now 50-35 all-time against CUW having won four of the last five meetings.
- This is the first postseason win for Marian since the 2021 season.
