Sophomore Yinan Lu of Marian University women’s golf has been selected as the NACC Player of the Week.

Lu (Qindao, China) earned medalist honors and helped lead Marian to a second-place finish at the Marian Invite.  She shot the lowest round of the field in the opening round with a 77 and followed that up with a 79 to finish with a two-day total of 156.  Lu carded a pair of birdies in the event with one coming in each round.  The rounds were the sixth and seventh of her career that she finished below 80 strokes.  This is also the fourth NACC Player of the Week selection of her career.

Marian heads to the Fighting Scot Invitational, hosted by Monmouth (Ill.) Sept. 14-15 held at Gibson Woods Golf Course.
