The City of Fond du Lac’s Parks Dept is pleased to announce Mike Koenig Construction, Sheboygan WI has been awarded the 2022 Lakeside Harbor Lighthouse Repair Project. The project includes the removal and replacement of siding, replacing rotted studs, windows, concrete cap, and cleaning and tuck pointing stone, and related items. The contactor anticipates the start of the repairs the week of September 26. The majority of the work will be completed this year; however, the window replacement is scheduled for the spring of 2023. The Lighthouse & Observation Deck will remain closed until the entire project is completed.
