The Envision Greater Fond du Lac Board of Directors has announced the resignation of the organization’s President and CEO, Cecilia Harry, effective December 4, 2019. Harry has been recruited to fill a lead economic development position in Colorado.

Envision Greater Fond du Lac staff, volunteers and board of directors will continue to focus on delivering the quality programs the Greater Fond du Lac community has grown to rely on. Building on the positive momentum Envision Greater Fond du Lac has generated since its inception in 2017 is a top priority now and during this period of transition.

In the interim, Paul Reetz, board of directors chairman and owner of Integrity Saw and Tool, will provide leadership oversight to the hardworking team at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. Reetz will also lead the board in recruitment efforts to identify the next leader of the organization.

“Cecilia has been a tremendous asset to our community,” according to Reetz. “In her time here, she has been instrumental in developing a new corporate and governance structure, refining quality programming, and helping to set the stage for growth through her focus on talent led economic development, among other things. The impact of her work within our organization will have positive ripple effects well into the future. We wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.”

Harry reflects on her time with Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “I am extremely proud of what the organization’s talented staff and dedicated volunteers have achieved during my time in the community. Envision Greater Fond du Lac strengthens the economy of the greater Fond du Lac area through commerce, workforce and economic development. The organization was founded in July 2017 as the newly combined Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development organization.
