Marian University men’s lacrosse (0-2, 0-0 NACC) led at halftime, but Cornell used an 8-0 second half to pull away, winning 10-4.
 

• Sophomore Brandon Fain beat the clock in the final seconds of the first quarter, tying the score on an assist from freshman Franklin Lund. 
• Sophomore Alex Coscarart scored the first goal of his Marian career to give the Sabres their first lead of the night early in the second quarter.
• Four minutes later, Cornell responded with a man-up goal, tying the score at 2-2.
• Lund and sophomore Benett Luke each scored in the final three minutes to give Marian a 4-2 lead heading into halftime. 
• Cornell dominated the third quarter, converting six of eight shots on goal into scores.
• Riding their momentum into the fourth, the Rams scored twice to seal the victory.

• Marian was outshot 32-27 for the game and 21-10 in the second half.
• Lund has scored in all three games this season, the only Sabre to do so.
• Marian was a perfect 21-of-21 on clears.
• Cornell won 13-of-17 face-offs, including all seven in the first half.
• Marian and Cornell faced off for the fifth time, with the Sabres leading the series 3-2. 

	Sophomore Benett Luke led the team with 10 shots, scoring once and putting six on goal.
	Sophomore Andrew Nesbitt had seven ground balls and an assist.
	Senior Jackson Sweeney (0-3) had nine saves on the night.
