(December 12, 2019): Kondex recently received its eighth consecutive Gold Award from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) for its involvement in their 2019 I Make America Advocates Program. This honor recognizes member companies who completed the highest level of support criteria in promoting pro-manufacturing legislation and policies. Actions such as sending letters or emails to elected officials, holding an I Make America event, meeting with legislators, and more earned points to determine merit level.
“AEM is a strong voice for manufacturing, and does a phenomenal job providing its members with industry insights and leadership,” commented Kondex Vice President Jim Wessing, who accepted the award at AEM’s Annual Conference. “We are happy to support their I Make America efforts, as this program creates awareness for American manufacturing and helps businesses like ours remain globally competitive.”
AEM is the North American-based international trade group representing more than 900 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility sectors worldwide.
