Kolpitcke picked as NACC Defensive Player of the Week

Senior Kayla Kolpitcke of Marian University women’s lacrosse has been picked as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Kolpitcke (Powell, Wyo.) picked up right where she left off from last season causing six turnovers with 16 ground balls between a pair of games to open the season.  Kolpitcke had an especially strong game against Hendrix where she had five caused turnovers and a career-high 12 ground balls.
