Sophomore Brayden Johnson of Marian University men’s soccer has been announced as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week.
Johnson (Belvidere, Ill.) had a big week to lead Marian past Lakeland and Rockford. Johnson opened the week with an assist against Lakeland in a 2-0 win. Then he posted the first hat trick of his career to lead the Sabres past Rockford 5-0. He opened the scoring against the Regents to be credited with the game-winning goal. Through nine games this season, Johnson has six goals and two assists for 14 total points.

Marian returns to road action traveling to MSOE Wednesday, Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m. kick-off.
