Into the Woods Wellness is proud to announce its official launch, bringing a transformative, integrative approach to mental health and well-being in Wisconsin. Founded by wellness visionary Katie Abhold and led by Licensed Professional Counselor and internationally acclaimed author Kaitlyn Kenealy as CEO, the organization blends traditional therapy with mindful movement, nutrition, and community connection in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Abhold’s founding vision was rooted in a desire to create a space where individuals could explore healing beyond the limits of traditional mental health care. That vision came to life through a powerful collaboration with Kenealy, whose leadership and clinical expertise have helped develop a comprehensive model focused on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Into the Woods Wellness is now home to a multidisciplinary team offering therapy, culinary wellness, mindful living coaching, yoga, and body-based healing practices. Services are designed to meet individuals where they are and provide tools for deeper, lasting transformation.

Kenealy, known for her award-winning debut book Healing is Messy AF, brings her lived experience, clinical insight, and advocacy for trauma-informed affirming care to the forefront of the organization’s mission. Her forthcoming second book, expected Fall/Winter 2025, dives even deeper into identity trauma, resilience, and authenticity.

“This is more than a wellness center—it’s a living, breathing movement toward intentional healing,” said Kenealy. “Katie’s founding vision set the foundation, and our entire team is honored to build on it, creating space for people to reconnect with themselves in meaningful, holistic ways.”

With its launch, Into the Woods Wellness is setting a new standard for integrative care—where clinical excellence, personal empowerment, and community come together to support the healing journey.
