The Fond du Lac County Senior Services Department has long been a stand alone department within the County structure. The recent retirement of the Director of Senior Services has presented the opportunity to integrate the Senior Services Department into the Department of Social Services to join with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) to create a new Aging division within the Department of Social Services.
The Department of Social Services will be holding informational sessions regarding the integration of the Department of Senior Services into the Department of Social Services.
Informational sessions will be held at these following times and locations:
- Tuesday March 1st, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Ripon Senior Center, 100 E Jackson Street Ripon WI 54971
- Wednesday March 2nd 2022 at 1:30 pm at the Campbellsport Library, 220 N Helena Street Campbellsport WI 53010
- Thursday March 3rd 2022 at 10:00 am at the Fond du Lac Senior Center, 151 E First Street Fond du Lac WI 54935
The purpose of these sessions is to provide an opportunity for Fond du Lac County residents to learn more about the integration and the development of the Aging division and comment and give input on the integration of the two departments. Input received by members of the public will be considered in the final development of the integration plan and modification of the County Aging Plan.
