Agnesian HealthCare schedules mass vaccination clinic on April 10

As COVID-19 vaccine shipments vary week by week, Agnesian HealthCare has just learned that it will receive enough doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for an already planned mass vaccination clinic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.

Under previous mass vaccination clinic plans using the Moderna vaccine, second doses would have been due Mother’s Day weekend.

“This is a wonderful new development as we are working diligently to get as many people vaccinated as possible,” says Kathy Luedtke, Fond du Lac Regional Clinic director of Clinic Services. “We are very pleased with the interest we have already secured for our second mass vaccination clinic and were hesitant knowing that second doses would be due during Mother’s Day weekend. This is a nice, unexpected gift for all participants.”

As such, Agnesian HealthCare does have available appointments at this time on April 10. They are expected to fill quickly.

Individuals have two ways to schedule their vaccination:

  • Use their MyChart account. Individuals do not have to be an Agnesian HealthCare patient to use MyChart. If they do not have an existing MyChart account, they can visit ssmhealth.com/mychart and sign up.
  • For those who do not have online access, Agnesian HealthCare continues to offer appointment scheduling by phone; please be patient as we expect lengthy wait times. Call (920) 926-8400. Scheduling lines are open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. Messages will be returned next business day.

On Good Friday, phone lines will be open until noon. However, patients are able to leave a message and staff will follow-up next business day to schedule an appointment.

As open slots for April 10 are expected to fill quickly, interested individuals can sign up for COVID-19 vaccination clinics that are offered weekdays at Agnesian HealthCare facilities in Fond du Lac, Ripon and Waupun. Those clinics feature either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines.
