Marian University women’s ice hockey (9-9-0, 6-6-0 NCHA) earned a sweep of Lawrence behind a 4-0 road win.
 

• The Sabres dominated in shots in the opening period but the score remained 0-0 at the first intermission.
• Marian took the lead in a big way with sophomore Zowie Hunter scoring three times in a span of 4:30.
• The opening goal came on a power play and was assisted by junior Olivia Church-Sowinski along with junior Ella Spies.
• Then just 2:06 later, Hunter was assisted by freshman Jillian Newhouse and Crawford to put Marian ahead 2-0.
• Senior Caitlin Traver helped out on the final goal which came with 7:37 left in the period.
• Hunter closed out the scoring at the 8:24 mark of the third period with an unassisted score.

• Marian held a dominating 37-14 advantage in shots for the game.
• The Sabres also had a 34-23 edge in face-offs.
• Marian was 1-for-5 on the power play, while Lawrence was scoreless on three chances.
• This was the second six-point weekend in NCHA action this season for Marian.
• The Sabres are 10-2-3 all-time against the Vikings.

	Sophomore Zowie Hunter scored all four Marian goals, her second multi-goal game this season.
	Senior Logan Crawford had an assist to cap off a three-point weekend.
	Sophomore Jillian Traver (7-5-0) posted her second shutout of the year stopping all 14 shots she faced.
