Graduate student Erik Horman and sophomore Shay Nolen of Marian University men’s lacrosse have been named All-NACC.
Horman (Appleton, Wis.) earns his third All-NACC selection being placed on the honorable mention team. A spectacular career as a Sabre came to a close with him ranking third in the NACC for goals per game and sixth for points per game. He would net 41 goals on the campaign with 52 total points. Horman scored at least four goals in six games with a pair of six-goal performances. Against Spalding, he would score six goals with four assists for a season-best 10 points. Horman finishes as the all-time leader for games played, points, goals, man-up goals, and man-down goals. He is also second in program history for career ground balls.
Nolen (St. Louis, Mo.) was an anchor on the Sabre defense all season long and earns his first All-NACC pick. He finished the season with 19 caused turnovers over 13 games putting him third in the conference with 1.46 caused turnovers per game. Nolen had multiple caused turnovers in four games including a Marian single-game record seven at Concordia Wisconsin. He would scoop up at least five ground balls in three games with a season-best seven coming against Beloit in a home victory.
